My new “Relief Pictures” are hand-printed 3D prints. The three-dimensional sketches are applied to backgrounds with artificial shadows. This gives the motifs a similarly high degree of depth and three-dimensionality to my shadow pictures, making them appear to float freely in front of the frame.
