On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel on May 14, 2008 and in memory of a study trip to Israel, the first shadow paintings of this series were created in June 2008. The subject of the paintings are religious places, city and nature motifs as well as images of personalities well known from politics and society. “Halutz & Livni” shows the general and former chief of staff of the Israeli armed forces Dan Halutz and the Israeli foreign minister Tzipora “Zipi” Livni in conversation.
